In search of a workwear-based creation, sacai tapped on Carhartt WIP, a pioneer in workwear, developing its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear.
By combining Carhartt WIP’s duck fabric jackets with sacai’s signature nylon twill fabric and other iconic brand
elements like knit technique, collaboration elevates the workwear style to more suitable for everyday wear.
The collection plays with layers and bold colors, the blend of the two brands presented in a destructive yet coherent way.
The Workwear that left a strong impression in INTERSTELLAR, which also served as inspiration to sacai man Autumn & Winter 2023 Collection and sacai Autumn 2023 Collection, will launch on September 8th as the ultimate expression of utility.
Special Pop up will be held at DSML (Dover Street Market London) starting September 6th, at
BELOWGROUND Hong Kong and Shanghai Taikoo Li Qiantan starting September 7th. Exclusive T-shirt will be offered at sacai retailers, sacai online store. Pre-sale will take place at sacai Aoyama, sacai online store, DSML online store and Carhartt online store for orders in US/UK/Australia.
